I have been diabetic and hypothyroid since the last 20 years and was on oral medications for the same. I was developing numbness and weakness in my feet due to neuropathy, increase in urinary frequency and episodes of hypos in blood sugar levels since the last few months. I was in search ofa good doctor for my problems when my nephew informed me about Dr. Mudit at Dharma Diabetes Clinic. I booked an appointment with him online and also confirmed it with the staffat the clinic which was very nice. He started me on a 14 days continuous glucose monitoring with a sensor and changed my medication, diet and exercise accordingly. Now in a few months only my test reports are much better with symptoms controlled with no episodes of glucose fluctuations. I wish to recommend him to all other patients suffering with diabetes like me and wish him all the best for his good work.

Iam totally Shocked. I am searched on phone best doctors for diabetes in delhi. Then I meet to Sir start my treatment..then again I do the test for my satisfaction fasting sugar 73 which is normal and HBA1C 9.7. This report test alteast give me a smile on my face. Just praying to god and following the doctor prescription and diet. Only have one hope to reach my HBA1C 6.5 mid September and join Cruise line. We’ve had around six appointments with Dr. Sabharwal, who came highly recommended through a family connection. While I won’t impugn his medical knowledge or expertise, I absolutely question the way he runs the commercial side of his practice.
Every visit comes with the same pattern of discomfort: no real discussion of options and prices around the products and tests he prescribes, but always a pushy assumption that the patient will blindly pay whatever is demanded at the end.
Before any sensor is attached or any test is done, there is no itemised quote, no invoice, no pricing disclosure, no time to deliberate, and no consent taken. You’re simply moved into the test room and then suddenly handed a bill of ₹10,000 like it’s normal. And on top of that, when challenged, it’s extremely unbecoming for a mature doctor to come out and browbeat his patient by saying “you should have asked.” Garbage bedside manner. Always feels scammy.
He aggressively pushes the Abbott sensor, yet in our case it has failed 6 out of 6 times. No one’s blind to the financial incentive he probably receives for pushing it.
The clinic also has zero transparency in billing. No proper invoicing. Payments are taken via personal UPI. Charges are casually shown on a receptionist’s calculator AFTER the product has been attached or the test has been completed.
I’m not even debating legality here. This is simply disgraceful practice and a complete violation of the patient’s right to clear information.
A doctor should disclose what tests are being done, why they’re needed, and what they will cost before the patient is essentially cornered into paying. What happens here feels like patients are being financially ambushed.
It’s shameful, and it leaves an awful taste. Dr. Sabharwal may be very knowledgeable and skilled, but the way this clinic operates is greedy, opaque, and exploitative. It encapsulates every common man’s frustration with how medical service providers bully patients and manipulate them using their fears.
What a tragedy.
